Tork: Prehistoric Punk is a 3D platformer created by the French developer studio Tiwak, founded by people who previously worked on the first two Rayman games.

The game’s protagonist is a boy named Tork. One day he comes back to his home settlement, where he lives with his father, only to discover that the place has been turned into ashes and many of its inhabitants went missing. Seeing this, Tork concludes that his father has also been captured. The player takes on the role of the little caveman and sets off to rescue the boy’s father and take revenge on the mysterious enemy.

Fortunately, Tork can use magic powers that let him travel in time. Throughout the game’s 13 levels you get to see the prehistoric epoch, the middle ages, and a futuristic world dominated by machines. The boy is not defenseless – he can transform into a strong Yeti, agile squirrel, and tough armadillo.
