Possessor(s) is a metroidvania title, implemented in the form of an action platform game with adventure elements. The game was developed by Heart Machine studio, which gained worldwide recognition with the game Hyper Light Breaker.

Plot

Possessor(s) takes us to a gigantic, flooded megacity that fell victim to an interdimensional catastrophe and was closed in a quarantine cutting it off from the rest of the world. The main characters of the game are Luca and Rehm, who traverse the metropolis, trying to survive and determine what led to the cataclysm. Along the way, the protagonists meet other characters who have their own, often shocking stories to tell.
