Game mechanics

In many ways, Evercore Heroes is a classic MOBA with the map shown in an isometric view. Players team up in teams of four and try to claim victory over their rivals in real-time online skirmishes. There is a variety of heroes to choose from, differing in playing style, skills, etc. We earn gold and experience points, which we use to increase the hero's combat potential.

However, there is a reason why Vela studio refers to the production genre as MOCA - Multiplayer Online Co-Op Arena. Unlike typical MOBA games, in Evercore Heroes the competing teams do not fight each other directly. Instead, players will hit separate maps and fight mobs to complete further tasks. Thus, the game is closer to dungeon runs, except that here teams race to reach the final boss before their rivals.

Each goal can be achieved by only one team, and the rewards are valuable reinforcements and Luum - the energy needed to recharge the titular Evercore. Without it, there is no chance of victory, and from time to time mobs appear taking this device for a target. Some of them are sent by the boss itself, but players can reinforce the waves of enemies sent at rivals by reaching more targets.

Technical aspects

Evercore Heroes was initially developed on Unreal Engine 4, and later work continued on the fifth generation of this technology.
