Crime Simulator

Crime Simulator is a simulation game that allows us to experience the life of a criminal. The game was developed by the independent Polish studio CookieDev, which has a similar genre and thematic project Thief Simulator 2 in its portfolio.

Gameplay

In Crime Simulator we view the action from a first-person perspective (FPP).

Performing heists

The core of the game are the heists performed by us in various areas, among which we will find both dark districts and residences of the rich people. Each location presents us with different challenges, so it's worth planning each action accordingly, seeking advice from specialists if necessary (they will point out the best targets for a fee, teach us how to by security or search for the most valuable loot).

Equipment

While committing burglaries and thefts, we should make an effort not to get caught. Helpful equipment comes to our aid, which we collect as we progress. For example, lockpicks allow us to open locks, a crossbow enables silent elimination of guards and policemen, while a baseball bat allows us to deal with opponents when we are detected. Over time, we gain access to more technologically advanced gadgets, such as drones or special scanners indicating the most valuable items.

Skills

As we progress, we develop our criminal skills, which increase our inventory capacity, improve our character's perception (allowing us to detect danger faster), or perfect our stealth techniques. In addition to them, there are special abilities here that we can use only once during a given game. They can allow us to cancel a police intervention or immediately repair all owned items.

Base camp

Our command center serves as a base. We can arrange this space with furniture, providing ourselves with various bonuses. For example, the bed regenerates the health of our character, training equipment allows to increase our carrying capacity, while the treill makes our speed increase.
