Bendy and the Dark Revival is the second installment of the survival horror series launched in 2017. It was developed by the Joey Drew Studios team, which is handling the development of the series.
The main character of the game Bendy and the Dark Revival is a woman named Audrey. The protagonist was imprisoned in the animation studio known from the original. The place has been overrun by terrifying monsters inspired by characters from cult cartoons, led by a demon who has arranged a hunt for our charge. Looking for an escape route, Audrey not only fights for survival, but also gradually discovers the truth about the studio.
In Bendy and the Dark Revival, we observe the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). We explore the studio, solve various environmental puzzles, meet friendly characters and step by step discover further elements of the plot. In all this we are hindered by aggressive opponents. Although we get our hands on weapons that allow us to defend ourselves against rank opponents, in case of encounters with a demon trampling on our heels, the only way to save ourselves is to run away and hide in various nooks and crannies of the studio. As we progress, we gain new skills that increase our chances of survival.
Graphics in Bendy and the Dark Revival is made in the familiar style of the original, reminiscent of American cartoons from the first half of the 20th century. Nevertheless, the whole game looks much better in technical , as evidenced, among other things, by much more detailed designs of locations or models of enemies.
