Valve didn't keep people waiting long for more changes on Steam. New filters in the company's digital store will make it easier to find games with adjustable difficulty levels and other accessibility features.

The promised changes have arrived on Steam, thanks to which players will easily find games with accessibility features.

Over the past few years, Valve's platform has received post published on the platform's official blog.

This time, as promised, the Steam creators have taken on the task of improving accessibility options, thanks to which more people can enjoy games, including those with disabilities. These features are becoming more and more common in many games and can include adjusting difficulty levels, choosing control methods, and various audiovisual options.

That's why Valve added the ability to search for games by accessibility features. Right now, they are visible for over 5,000 productions, and developers and publishers are constantly adding more.

As stated in the announcement on Steam, players can use filters related to gameplay, controls, sound, and visual elements, including the ability to save the game state at any time, control the game using only a mouse or keyboard, and options for camera adjustment and changing the size of the displayed text.

For example, this is what the new "tags" look like on the Baldur's Gate 3 Steam card.

You can find more about the accessibility features filters in games on Steam in a separate article for Valve partners.
